• The sixth edition of “Intesa Sanpaolo Start-Up Initiative” will be held in Padua in collaboration with “Nanochallenge and Polymerchallenge 2010” and will be devoted to nanotechnologies and to new polymeric and composite materials
• Italian and foreign early-stage and start-up projects, after screening and a training process, will be presented before the potential investors of reference
• An international panel will award 600,000 euros, made available by Veneto Nanotech and IMAST, for the best projects
The two winners of Nanochallenge and Polymerchallenge 2009 were announced on Friday, 27 November 2009. After two days of presentation the international jury made a decision choosing the two winners among the eight finalist teams.

ThunderNiL for the nanotechnology category, with a technology which is able to drastically improve data storage on DVDs and the performances of photovoltaic panels, and Chismatech for the polymers category, with an innovative polymer harder than carbon and design structure tougher than any honey comb sandwich.
