CIVEN is an association between the University of Padova, the University Ca’ Foscari of Venezia, the IUAV and the university of Verona, devoted to the promotion of research and training activities in the field of nanotechnology.

Founded in March 2003, CIVEN is located at the heart of Veneto Nanotech, and it has received a grant by the Regional Government of Veneto to start up two strategic initiatives:

1. Applied research projects
2. A high level graduate master’s programme called “International Master in Nanotechnologies”

Upon request and in collaboration with universities and regional or international public institutions, CIVEN carries out applied research activities for businesses or other private parties.
