The technological Cluster “Torino Wireless” shelters the principal ICT players of Piemonte in a shared values and strategies system able of increasing local competitiveness through the integration of R&D activities, entrepreneurship and risk capital.

The Cluster is committed in creating a “virtuous circle” whose research and entrepreneurial activities along with the availability of capital are linked together and able to be sustained on their own.

The coordination of the Cluster’s activities is entrusted to the Fondazione Torino Wireless, a governance body with the task of evaluating the resources of the Region, developing each player’s contribution, and integrating them into common long term strategies.

The Cluster is focused on ICT and its components (software, multimedia, microelectronics, optics, wireless and wireline) and its operative perimeter includes ICT applications in the traditional industrial sectors that are more receptive of technological innovation.
