The Galileo Science and Technology Park (PST) is an association joined by the Chambers of Commerce of Padua, Treviso, Vicenza and Belluno , the University of Padua, the Commune and the Province of Padua, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo and the Veneto Innovazione.
The mission of the Park is to strengthen the competitive capacity of businesses through the realisation of activities aimed at diffusing technology and applied research results.
The Park’s activities stand out in the areas of innovation and research (meeting point between demand and supply of technological innovation), design and new materials (creativity for product innovation), quality and certification (interface between businesses and laboratories) and start-up businesses (an incubator of new businesses). These activities are performed in close collaboration with the University of Padua the Research Centres,and the Category Associations present in the region.
Furthermore, the service that the Park places at the disposal with Matech, allows businesses to be kept updated regarding innovative materials at an international level and provides research and consulting services.
